Summer Wedding bliss for Mark and Louise at Tankardstown House

It’s time for our June blog and what better way to celebrate Summer time than a look back at the gorgeous Summer wedding of Mark & Louise from August 2022. The morning of the wedding is always a perfect place to start. As the bridal party gets ready with hair and make-up, we take a look at some of the beautiful details including the flower bouquets we provided. We also love how their invitations have incorporated a floral illustration to keep in line with their wedding theme. Prepping all the details for the day including button holes soaking in water.

For the bridal party bouquets, a signature of ours, is to deliver them on the morning in these unique Bollinger crates as shown in the middle picture. Also pictured; the beautiful bride Louise and her mother putting the finishing touches on and then arriving at the church just before the ceremony commences.A close up look at the bridal bouquets; we used Roses, Hydrangeas, Astilbe and Lisianthus in each. We also provided additional greenery for the exterior of the church. Such a lovely added detail to consider; it just adds more depth to the day and pulls the whole wedding theme together. The little nuance moments before the ceremony commences. I love how the photographer Pawel captures the moments of giddy excitement from both Louise getting ready to walk the aisle outside and Mark patiently waiting inside. The beautiful bridesmaids in their green Folkster dresses walking down the intimate aisle followed by Louise and her mother. Some of the floral arrangements inside the church from both front and back angles. And so much green throughout this wedding and we’re loving it; from the bouquets to the dresses to the whole aisle; just love how the colour scheme all ties together. We decided on using eucalyptus and an assortment of fern to bulk out the greenery throughout the church & floral arrangements. And they’re married. Now time for the afters and to party. What a lovely & totally unique addition to have for your guests on your wedding day. Cocobrew are a high-end bespoke service; providing a range of luxury speciality coffee, cocktails and treats; all handmade and served from their vintage VW Cocobrew van; what’s not to love? And now a moment for the stunning venue and grand landscape of Tankardstown House in Slane, Co. Meath.Whatever your taste, Tankardstown House, exuding understated elegance and luxury, provides the perfect backdrop for the Country House Wedding day of your dreams. What a gorgeous & beautifully co-ordinated bridal party; the men’s suits are Louis Copeland and the bridesmaid dresses are Folkster. It’s time to take a moment for the stunning interiors of Tankardstown house especially their Orangery. Guests are welcomed into the Main House drawing rooms for pre-dinner drinks & canapés, then following down the winding staircase to the magnificent Orangery where dining, worthy of its surroundings, is served with great care and attention to detail.

What I love most is the stunning light and warmth billowing through the glass ceiling; it makes the room almost grandeur in its size yet somehow still feels intimate. And now for some more of the details; including close up shots of the table place names and not one but two wedding cakes….delish!!Again we worked on incorporating the same greenery of fern and eucalyptus from the church throughout the Orangery.  An overall clean, elegant yet classic aesthetic. And then for the last bit of detailing of this wedding; the seating chart display for their table plan. Simple yet effective and again ties in smoothly with the overall theme and aesthetic on the day. And that’s a wrap on this month’s blog; all the stunning photos on the day were courtesy of the ever talented; Pawel Bebenca. His main focus for you on your day is to ensure you get to enjoy your special day & don’t miss out on any aspects of the fun all the while he will be clicking away; capturing those raw human moments.
