An intimate family wedding for Jennifer & Barry in the heart of Dublin City.

For our November Blog we will taking a look at the gorgeous city wedding of Jen & Barry. With House as the ceremony venue & reception space and Dublin City as the backdrop; this wedding was a lovely, bustling yet intimate affair.Getting started showcasing some of the little details & touches that go into a wedding. I especially love the Moet & Chandon personalisation; that will serve as a keepsake for them for years to come.Jen’s make up was courtesy of Sarah Marie Howes; giving a natural flawless finish; making Jen glow from ear to ear. And let us not forget about the hair by the brillant Sian Sharkey; effortless & chic yet natural in style complimenting perfectly with Jen’s make-up.For the ceremony & the meal it was just for family; some quality time spent with their kids to bask in all their love. The gorgeous rustic cake was courtesy of The Cake Cuppery whilst the beautiful floral signage was bespoke designed by The Paperlove. The intimate family ceremony was officiated by Amy Browne Humanist Celebrant.

Jen’s beautiful sequined draped dress was by Joanna Hope whilst her jewellery was courtesy of Halo jewellery based in Dublin. After the lunch, around 100 of Jen & Barry’s closest friends & family arrived at the venue to join in on the food, drink, dancing & celebrating. At House, they know what it takes to create a successful event no matter the occassion whether it’s a launch party, a birthday, a corporate fixture or a wedding; their team is dedicated to delivering the perfect day for you.For the wedding florals we went with a mixture of Roses, Hydrangeas, Achillea, Hypericum, Lisianthus and Astilbe. Classic with a twist of simplicity yet still striking a beautiful impact.

With a smaller city wedding; you are rewarded with a more intimate, relaxed atmosphere, allowing you, the happy couple to focus on what truly matters—each other and your closest loved ones. With fewer guests, one can enjoy a more laid-back, stress-free day without the overwhelming hustle and bustle; there’s also more opportunity for personal touches, meaningful conversations, and a tailored experience.

A perk of a city wedding; getting to walk around town; capturing moments like these and even having a pint (or two) in your favourite pub. Photography on the day was courtesy of Katie Kav; whose expertise lies in the world of graphic design and brand photography; so she knows how to create aesthetically pleasing images, and with being a friend of the bride and groom the pressure was on!!

Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your gorgeous day. All the best to Jen, Barry & their family on this new chapter of life together.
