A Beautiful Boho Chic Wedding for Blathnaid & Charlie.

For September’s blog; we will taking a trip back to June 2019 and to the ethereal wedding of Blathnaid & Charlie which took place at the stunning Kippure Estate in Blessington, Co.Wicklow. Kippure Estate is a luxury event venue, set within a 250 acre estate which in turn is surrounded by the spectacular views of the Wicklow Mountains.What makes Kippure estate the perfect wedding venue is the fact that they have their own purpose built wedding pavilion along with a river side church, guest houses, a traditional Irish bar and a conference centre; guaranteeing a one of a kind experience on your special day. Kippure also has lodges on site so all your guests could stay. On top of all that, it is also just a short 15 minute drive from Blessington and 40 minutes from Dublin City.The Bridal party hair by was done by none other than Carolann McGuirk; international award winner hairdresser and bridal specialist. Whilst the stunning make-up was by Paula Callan & Oksana Lobanova. Paula Callan is celebrated as one of Ireland’s premier make-up artists & is highly sought after in the wedding & entertainment worlds whilst Oksana has worked extensively within the wedding industry as well tv & editorial work. Blathnaid’s dress is from Lola Varma Bridal; a minimal bridal wear store by designer Courtney Illfield, based out of Melbourne, Australia. Marrying high fashion and everyday apparel; Lola Varma exudes an edgy, unconventional vibe.Blathnaid and Charlie used an amazing celebrant called Orna Cronin who served as the master of ceremonies and she beautifully relayed their love story to the whole congregation.Blathnaid & Charlie wanted to incorporate the natural wilderness into the overall look & vibe of their day so their guests would feel as if they were in the middle of nature; we think they succeeded; what a stunning backdrop. For the floral bouquets, we chose a mixture of roses, snap dragon, astilbe, lisianthus and eryngium. Flower crowns were a must to match the wedding vibe; we used baby’s breath for the bridesmaids & then incorporated the bridal florals to create a unique bride’s crown for Blathnaid; loved the overall simplicity of the bridal party aesthetic. His approach is based on a documentary style of telling your story; capturing those unscripted moments, the real essence and nature of you, your family & your friends on your special day.The beautiful and delicious 5-tier wedding cake finished off with actual edible flowers was made by Charlie’s aunt; it’s definitely one of a kind.

This was such a fun wedding to have been part of; I loved providing the flower crowns and all the florals for Blathnaid & Charlie & wish them many more years of joy and happiness to come.
