An Ethereal Wedding Day for Nicole & Roshan at Tinakilly Country House & Gardens.
For our October Blog post, we’ll be shining a spotlight on the ethereal and whimsical wedding of Nicole and Roshan; which took place amongst the stunning grounds of Tinakilly Country House & Gardens. A beautiful and magical day; blessed with gorgeous weather, a loving couple, breath taking surroundings and an extremely talented team of wedding suppliers….what more could you ask for.
For Nicole’s bridal flowers, we went with a combination of Delphinium, Lavender Roses, Pink Lissianthus, Eryngium, Brunia, Eucalyptus and Acacia; together, these blooms create a bouquet that feels light, romantic, and effortlessly wild.
The moments before walking down the aisle; a period of giddiness, nerves and most of all excitement. Lovely touching moments of Nicole and her father caught on film by Wedding photographer Shane O’Sullivan. As mentioned on previous blogs; SOSAC Photography is a husband and wife team comprised of Shane & Adele O’Sullivan based in County Waterford. Shane is the talented photographer behind the lens whilst Adele is the creative, assisting behind the scenes.
Working with such a beautiful backdrop never gets old. Tinakilly Country House is the kind of venue that whispers romance; a venue that does not need much dressing up making it the perfect option for your wedding.
I really love this floral combination; the pink Lisianthus offers a delicate, ruffled texture, the lavender Roses are gentle & timeless whilst the Delphinium shape gives the arrangement height and a graceful, airy movement.
Hair on the day was courtesy of Claire Barry; a freelance wedding and session hair stylist, based in Dublin. Claire’s calm and organised approach helps to squash any nerves on the day; she plans out the morning and sends each bride a schedule beforehand, ensuring a smooth and professional service from start to finish.
Make up was provided by Aoife Callaghan; an Award winning bridal makeup artist with over 15 years experience and has been featured in Vogue Bride, New York Times, Style Me Pretty to name a few. Her approach to bridal makeup is simple – to define a brides beauty by creating a bridal makeup look that is natural and softly defined.
Nicole’s stunning dress was from Claire Pettibone and the detail was exquisite, the floral embellishment was to die for while Roshan’s suit was from Cad and the Dandy in NYC.
Tinakilly House has a few rooms to choose from and with smaller weddings, The Halpin Suite is the perfect choice. The suite boasts beautiful French doors and large bay windows providing a flood of natural light & stunning sea views over the east facing gardens.
Congratulations to Nicole and Roshen, it was such a pleasure and a joy to be part of your beautiful day.
