For our first blog of 2026; Julianne and Graeme saying ‘I Do’ at Tinakilly Country House is taking centre stage. 
In this country, we are lucky enough to be spoilt for choice when it comes to Wedding Venues. And one of my all time favourites is Tinakilly Country House and Gardens. I have probably worked at this venue more than any other in Ireland but it never fails to deliver or disappoint. 
Why is Tinakilly Country House and Gardens so special? Well it offers a timeless elegance that makes it an exceptional choice for your wedding day. Nestled on the Wicklow coastline, this Victorian manor is surrounded by lush woodlands and manicured gardens, creating a romantic and serene setting. The sea views, historic charm, and intimate ambiance provide a stunning backdrop for ceremonies and celebrations alike. With its blend of natural beauty and refined architecture, Tinakilly effortlessly combines sophistication and warmth, making every moment of your special day truly unforgettable.
The weather really played a blinder for Julianne and Graeme; it turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year and thankfully so as the wedding was planned as an outdoor ceremony complete with a flower arch and signature cocktails; what more could you want!
Julieanne’s dress was from White Dress Bridal Boutique; which is actually based in Milwaukee. A store where trendy meets luxury offering unique and timeless wedding dresses so that all brides can feel beautiful, confident and celebrated.
For the wedding flowers we used a colourful mixture of Hydrangeas, Peony Roses, Achillea, Lisianthus, Roses & Dahlias.
At Tinakilly, their rose gardens are the perfect setting for your outdoor and/or civil ceremony especially if the weather is on your side. And something that just adds that little bit extra and serves as a great backdrop is a floral archway. Tinakilly has this as a feature on site and we can decorate it with flowers of your choice. Keeping with their floral theme, we also bulked up the table with the same blooms and decor. While the floral archway can serve as a main feature during the ceremony; you can also utilise it as the entrance piece to the main reception.
The bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in their dresses, which were thoughtfully selected from Miss Ruby Boutique again based in Milwaukee. Each gown complemented the wedding’s aesthetic beautifully; the bridal party were truly radiant. 
Hair on the day was courtesy of Kathleen Riordan; a pro bridal specialist. Whilst Make-up was by Ailbhe Lync; an award-winning Irish makeup artist based in Dublin with nearly three decades of experience in commercial, editorial, bridal and TV makeup. Known for her professionalism and natural aesthetic, Ailbhe remains one of Ireland’s most respected and in-demand makeup professionals.

Paul is based in Ireland but shoots weddings worldwide, he describes his work as biography—documenting couples’ real emotions and interactions so that their photos tell the story of their day in an authentic, heartfelt way. With over a decade of experience shooting weddings, Paul offers a relaxed yet thoughtful approach, blending documentary-style imagery with subtly directed portraits and bespoke fine art albums for his clients. Couples appreciate how he puts them at ease, allowing them to enjoy their celebrations while he captures the joy, connection, and atmosphere of the day.
Again the use of the floral archway; which we used outside serving as the main feature during the ceremony; we then bring it indoors so you can also utilise it as the entrance piece to the main reception.
