Blushing Wedding Bliss for Hope and Cian at Rathsallagh House

For our May blog post we will be heading back once again to one of my favourite wedding venues; Rathsallagh House, for the beautiful wedding of Hope & Cian that took place on the 8th August 2024.Rathsallagh House has been hosting wedding parties for almost 30 years now and their experience in that regard is hard to surpass. They have been dubbed Ireland’s most romantic, exclusive and private wedding location.

The grounds of Rathsallagh always make for the perfect backdrop with its 300 year old walled gardens and park lands; it is such a gorgeous setting for any wedding and I love working at this location.Their wedding coordinators have years of experience in providing you with all the assistance and expertise to ensure that your big day is a memorable and pleasurable occasion for all.For Hope’s colourful bridal bouquets; we used a mixture of Hydrangeas, Roses, Lisianthus, Astilbe and Delphinium. With shades of blush pink, ivory, soft peach and pops of blue, the florals resonate an ethereal and dreamy aesthetic. We  adorned the chapel chairs with smaller versions of the bridal bouquet whilst we provided fuller, larger versions for the exterior of the church, adding more detail and depth to the day and pulling the whole wedding theme together. It’s important when planning your own wedding to consider how you want to tie all the elements together making sure there is consistency and flow to the day.The beautiful bridesmaids dresses were from Pretty Lavish UK; a brand recognised for their sophisticated occasion wear and sleek, modern bridesmaid’s collection.

Hope and her bridesmaids had their hair beautifully styled by Sarah Boyle; a freelance bridal & editorial hair stylist based out of Carlow whilst their make-up was by Joanne O’Brien; super talented make-up artist with 10 plus years experience in the business. Candid moments and beautiful images were shot by Niall Scully; a natural and elegant fine art wedding & lifestyle photographer. A professional who takes great pride in his work; his talent knows no bounds.Flowers and table decor play a vital role in setting the mood and style of your wedding. They bring colour, texture, and personality to your venue, helping to create a cohesive and memorable atmosphere. Thoughtfully chosen arrangements can reflect your unique love story and leave a lasting impression on your guests. And side note; if you are thinking of making a couple of days of it for your big event; Rathsallagh is ideal. It not only has an 18 hole Championship Golf Course on site but also a jacuzzi room, billiard room and tennis court. And additional activities like clay pigeon shooting, falconry, fishing and archery can be organized by prior arrangement; just something to bear in mind when planning your day or days!!This was such a fun wedding to have been part of; I loved providing all the florals for Hope & Cian’s blissful day & wish them many more years of joy and happiness to come.
