The whimsical wedding of Catherine & Padraic in Tankardstown House

It’s time for our February blog and we’re looking back to August 2023 to the gorgeous wedding of Catherine and Padraic in the stunning surroundings of Tankardstown House. Whether your dreaming of a grand gathering or an intimate celebration, Tankardstown House, exuding understated elegance and luxury, provides the perfect backdrop for the Wedding day of your dreams.Catherine and her beautiful bridesmaids are picture perfect; her gorgeous bridal gown is by Suzanne Neville whilst the bridesmaids dresses were ASOS; an overall consistent & co-ordinated aesthetic complemented perfectly with their bouquets.

The bridal bouquets consisted of a variation of roses; specifically quicksand roses, menta roses and toffee roses alongside some mocha lisianthus; I really loved the overall colour palette. Traditionally many choose not to see one another until it is time to walk down the aisle however Catherine and Padraic opted to do a first look before the ceremony; an intimate moment just the two of them.For the ceremony florals; we incorporated the roses & lisianthus once again; providing a paired back version of the bridal bouquet with some foliage along the outside of the chairs. And then a fuller, larger version of the bridal bouquet with some added foliage as the centrepiece for the main table during the ceremony.And then they were married!!What a gorgeous & beautifully co-ordinated bridal party; the men’s suits were Ted Baker and the bridesmaid blush satin dresses were from ASOS. Guests are welcomed into the Main House drawing rooms for pre-dinner drinks & canapés, then following down the winding staircase to the magnificent Orangery where dining, worthy of its surroundings, is served with great care and attention to detail.Such a lovely summer’s wedding for Catherine & Padraic; it was a joy creating the florals & bringing everything to life on their special day alongside all the other talented vendors.
