For our first blog of the year we are going to look at the gorgeous September wedding of Sinead and James which took place at Clonwilliam House in County Wicklow.Clonwilliam House is a top choice for many Irish weddings since 2013 when the Richard’s family opened up their home and began hosting a limited number of private celebrations.
The bones of the current house date from the 19th century, since which time it has undergone a number of transformations. The result is an exquisite blend of old and new, combining 21st century luxury with the loveliness of a Georgian back drop. I also wanted to take the opportunity with this month’s blog to highlight the beautiful work of Miriam Clune who runs Clonwilliam House; she supplied all the stunning house flowers; I mean just look at this divine stairway. It’s all the details throughout the house that just add that extra special touch and pulls everything together on your wedding day for you and your guests.Sinead and her bridal party; we chose classic and simplified all white bouquets for an understated but impactful aesthetic. Natasha Ray supplied the make-up on the day for Sinead & her bridesmaids; she’s extremely talented & one to check out for your own future wedding! And let us not forget about the hair by the brillant Lou Merryweather; she is a master at bridal hair & created a beautiful look for Sinead. Some beautiful candid shots before the ceremony by Christina Brosnan; a photographer who goes above and beyond to give you not only lovely photographs but a full experience on the day.
And then some shots of the floral arrangements used during the ceremony inside the church. What a gorgeous & beautifully co-ordinated bridal party. Some of the fun personalised details supplied on the day. I always love seeing the different elements each couple choose to make their wedding truly their own and unique. Dinner takes place in the barn and stables across from the main house. This room is breath-taking, a unique setting which is visually spectacular, the off-white decor and the open rafters which are decorated with real trees adorned with thousands of fairy lights. This room really is a stunning backdrop for your dream wedding; again such pretty touches from Miriam that has really elevated Clonwilliam House to being a top choice for so many couples. The delicious wedding cake; again simplicity is key with this wedding theme.Cheers to Sinead & James on a fabulous wedding; such a stunning couple in an amazing location and I loved working with you both to bring it all together.
